Project:  FT TOTTEN LIGHTING UPGRADE

Location:  FT TOTTEN Metro Station, Washington, DC

JPI completed a station-wide replacement of the exterior lighting for the parking lot, mezzanine, entrance walks.  The existing infrastructure remained in place to avoid disruption of traffic, but all new pole bases & conductors were installed in phases. The existing bases were re-engineered and up-sized to accomodate larger poles at the original locations.

Project:  ANC FUNERAL PROCESSION & QUEUING LOT

Location: Arlington National Cemetery

Owner: US Army Corps of Engineers

The intent of this project was to upgrade the staff parking lot at the ANC administration buildling and install a new series of message signs to queue funeral traffic.  JPI installed fiber infrastructure for the sign control panel to communicate with the ANC control center.  Existing 96 strand fiber optic cable feeding the cemetary had to be spliced & relocated to accomodate the new lot. Existing solar panels with fixtures were also relocated to accomodate this new lot.

Project:  WEST FALLS CHURCH CANOPY LIGHTING UPGRADES

Location:  West Falls Church Metro Station

JPI completed a station wide upgrade to the under canopy lightng system.  The project consisted of a design/build/install to all 34 bus loop structures.

Project:  BISDORF BUILDING PERIMETER LIGHTING UPGRADES

Location: Alexandria, VA

This project consisted of a complete lighting renovation to the perimeter of the Bisdorf Student Services Building at the Alexandria campus of the NVCC.

Project:  AMIDON PARK LIGHTING UPGRADES

Location: SW, DC

Owner: DC DGS

GC: Environmental Design & Construction

JPI installed eight (8) new globe style LED fixtures on direct burial poles along Amidon Sidewalk Park on G St, SW.  These upgrades are part of ongoing efforts of the Waterfront Gateway Neighborhood Association to revitalize the Amidon Field area.

Project:  4 MILE RUN GARAGE LIGHTING UPGRADES

Location:  Arlington, VA

Owner: WMATA 

GC: Potomac Construction

This project was a facility wide upgrade of the exterior lighting at the bus garage, bus parking lot & employee parking lots encompassing the entire Rt.1, S Glebe Road & Eads St. intersection.  All new standards with high mast bullhorns replaced the existing poles.  Lighting control cabinets & conduit infrastructure for future telecommunications systems were also installed.

Project: NVCC Annandale Campus Exterior Improvements

Location: Annandale, VA

This project consisted of exterior site & facade improvements to the Student Commons Center at the Annandale campus of the NVCC.  Landscape, hard surface & utility improvements were made to the entire area.  Lighting improvements included site towers, streetscape lighting, facade uplights, bollards & hallway lighting.  All lighting was incorporated under a new programmable lighting control system.
